Release time: 2024-05-24

In our lives, you can see the use of glass everywhere, such as glass doors and windows, glass buildings, etc., and in so many glass, tempered glass is the most widely used, so what makes tempered glass so popular.

Tempered glass is also called safety glass. When high-quality float glass is heated close to the softening point, tempered glass cools rapidly on the outside of the glass, so that the contraction stress is spread on the outside of the glass, while the tensile stress is in the central layer. Because of the strong and equal contraction stress, the tensile stress caused by the external pressure is offset by the strong contraction stress of the glass, thus increasing the safety of the glass.
